A woman who accused an Uber driver of sexual assault is suing both the driver and the ride-share company.

On Wednesday, lawyers for the unidentified woman filed a lawsuit in the 73rd District Court against Uber Technologies Inc. and Juan Ontiveros, 28.

Ontiveros was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in October 2017 by Bexar County sheriff's deputies. While being taken into custody, Ontiveros defended himself to reporters by exclaiming "she was drunk."
