Police in Galveston confirmed on Monday that the family arrived at the San Luis Resort at about 7pm Sunday, but they still don't have any clue why Flor De Maria Pineda Canas killed her family before killing herself, and that has stunned many in the Baytown community.

Grief counselors are on hand at Victoria Walker Elementary School in Goose Creek ISD, where the boys both attended school.

"The tragic circumstances surrounding these students' deaths are almost too much to bear. A student death can have a ripple effect on a school community and, because of this and out of concern for the students' classmates and the campus faculty, we will have additional counseling services at the school. We are grieving for the loss of young life and its infinite possibilities and we pray for the family, friends and students most affected by this tragedy," a statement from Goose Creek ISD read.

Neighbors and friends are also trying to cope with the loss of a family, who so many described as happy and loving.

Shirley Davis, who lives next door, reflected on the boys riding their bicycles and and tricycles on her driveway, and how they always greeted her with hugs.

While others described the entire family as beautiful and loving people.
